Turkish Towel

Turkish Towel Gigartina are single blade, red algaes with an unusual surface texture that resembles a bath towel. The surface is studded with ball shaped or tapered papillae.

Our exceptionally detailed PlastiKelp models are molded from real specimens. Turkish Towel plants range from 10″ – 12″ (25 cm – 30.5 cm) tall by 4.5″ – 5″ wide, including stem and holdfast. A small holdfast threaded anchor is included.
